Milk Bar™ Ultra 6 is carefully manufactured with FDA and food contact approved, antimicrobial materials. The silver compounds inhibit the growth of MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus), S.Aureus and E.Coli by up to 99.9%.

The special antimicrobial material controls the slow release of Silver Ions that are:
Non toxic
Have a long life
Bactericide properties - kills bacteria
FDA approved
High heat resistant - up to 800º C
Highly effective & stable, do not vaporize nor decompose
 
The Ezi Lock hooks are mounted on the outside of the feeder and can be fixed directly to the feeder or mounted on an optional height adjustment plate. This allows you to hang and lock the feeder at the perfect height for your gates (teats at 60 - 65cm from the bedding).

While the antimicrobial properties of the Ultra material inhibit the growth of bacteria, cleaning is still required!

Recommended cleaning: Use Milk Bar™ Detergent, a dishwashing detergent, or any other non-chlorine/ chloride dairy detergent twice a week. Important! Chlorine/chloride based dairy detergents degrade natural rubber which reduces teat performance and voids any warranty.

  1. Rinse your teats with water.
  2. Use a gentle detergent, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use Chlorine/chloride based dairy detergents!
  3. Using a brush, lightly scrub the outside of the teats making sure to bend the teats. By bending the teats, any milk gets pushed back inside the feeder so the detergent can make contact with the inside of the teat wall.
  4. Rinse clean.

Milk Bar™ Ultra 6 comes with hooks fitted to the outside as standard.
