The Bird Proof Meal Bar has a rear hatch so the feeder can be filled from outside the pen or paddock. The curtain keeps birds out and the cover protects the contents from rain. Semi transparent, you can check the levels from a distance. Fitted with pre drilled aluminium hooks. One Bird Proof Meal Bar feeds 30 calves and can be used inside or out. Replacement curtains are easy to retro fit.

Using a drill, adjust the aluminium hooks to fit your gate or rail.
Use with any kind of starter ration.

Periodically, wash the trough with detergent and hot water.
Allow it to dry thoroughly before refilling.
